Wage: $34.65/hour

Hours: 30 hours per week

Education: College degree preferred but not mandatory requirement for the job, relevant hospitality certificate program or equivalent experience

Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years

Primary Responsibilities: As a Restaurant Assistant Manager, you will oversee various aspects of daily operations and support the Restaurant Manager in managing a smooth, efficient, and welcoming environment. Key duties include:

Operational Management:

–        Plan, organize, direct, control, and evaluate daily restaurant operations to ensure high-quality service and efficiency.

–        Implement and enforce operational procedures to maintain consistency and quality.

–        Ensure health, safety, and sanitation standards are rigorously followed.

Staff Management:

–        Recruit, train, and develop new staff members, ensuring a positive team culture.

–        Set work schedules, oversee performance, and provide constructive feedback to maintain high standards.

Customer Service:

–        Address customer complaints promptly and professionally to enhance guest satisfaction.

–        Ensure a positive guest experience by monitoring service standards and implementing improvements where necessary.

Inventory & Financial Oversight:

–        Control inventory and monitor revenue to achieve profitability goals.

–        Assist with procedure adjustments, pricing, and offerings based on financial performance and customer demand.

Supplier & Client Relations:

–        Assist in negotiating arrangements with suppliers for food, beverages, and other supplies to maintain quality and manage costs.

–        Coordinate with clients for special events, banquets, or facility use, tailoring services to meet their needs.

–        Serving It Right Certificate

–        Food Safety Certificate

–        Responsible Beverage Service Certificate

–        First Aid Certificate preferred but not required
