Prepare estimates of labour and/or material costs
Read blueprints, drawings and sketches to determine work requirements
Measure, cut, shape, assemble and join materials made of wood, wood substitutes, lightweight steel and other materials
Schedule and co-ordinate work on sites
Supervise other workers
